Drainage Consulting Services

Drainage Consulting Services is operated by Martin Beattie, founding member and Vice Chairman of the National Association of Drainage Contractors. Over the last decade, Martin has played a critical role in the development of the NADC, the National Drainage Academy, and the soon to be launched Drain Safe contractor scheme. He started his career in the drainage industry in March 1990 and provides CPD courses to a number of recognised blue-chip companies and trade organisations across the UK and Ireland.

After various positions with Dyno, Drain Doctor, Titmas & JM Murphy (Sewers) Martin formed his own drainage company Accelerated Drain Services in 2004.

Martin has recently completed working with Peter Henley from WRc to produce a new Manual of Drain & Sewer Cleaning (see below) which has now been published by WRc.

DCS as a company works in conjunction with the NADC and the National Drainage Academy delivering EU Skills accredited training courses to the drainage/utilities sector. Training is delivered from 2 training centers in London for contractors working across the south-east of England.
 
As an ever-increasing number of drainage contractors begin to demand training and certification to meet tender requirements DCS is on hand to provide the necessary training and certification to meet modern-day demands of larger clients who expect certification from their contractors, this includes local authorities, NHS Trusts, schools, colleges, private estate management companies and facilities management to name but a few.
